Tilal Imani is a multidisciplinary, multicultural storyteller and consultant working as an Art Director and Fashion Journalist. He specialises in fashion editorials and advertising, collaborating with international brands to build compelling narratives through strategy-led, visually driven content. His work spans photography, film, social, and design, leading creative across premium, prestige, and masstige categories.

He holds an MA in Fashion Journalism from London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, a BA (Hons) in Advertising and Marketing, and a second Master’s in Fashion Digital Marketing from NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan. His experience includes working with Saatchi & Saatchi and Alexander McQueen, with work featured on SHOWstudio. He has also served as Contributing Fashion Editor at Man About Town and Love magazines.

In 2020, Imani founded THISISSAND magazine and was nominated for the British Fashion Council Changemakers Prize. He was invited to speak as a Visiting Professor at Leeds Arts University in 2021.

A Sudanese born creative, Imani holds British and Canadian citizenships. Currently based between Milan and Paris.
